August 20, 1898 – August 16, 1974

Manly, IA – John Popp, 75, Manly, died Friday, August 16, 1974 at a Mason City Hospital.

Services will be at 10 AM Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manly. A parish wake service is scheduled for 8 PM Sunday at the Bride Colonial Chapel. Visitation is after noon Sunday.

He is survived by his wife, Erma (Messing); a son, Leonard, Rio Rancho, NM; four grandchildren; four brothers, Rudolph, Edward and Walter all of Mason City, and David, Nekoosa, WI; four sisters, Mrs. Josie Stangler, Manly, Mrs. Anna Weaverling and Mrs. Ed Kollmann, both Osage, and Mrs. Martha Paul
