August 29, 1912JOHN KING DEAD.
This community was badly shocked when word was received that Mr. KING, who lives with his son, Warren, on the S. L. CARPENTER farm, had dropped dead while walking around in the yard. Mr. KING has been failing for the past two or three weeks, and heart trouble is assigned as the cause of his sudden demise. He was a man 74 years of age. A son living in California and another at Crystal Lake, have been notified and are expected to arrive at once. Before going to press we are unable to learn the funeral arrangements.
