Obituary ~ Emma Cathrina Jensen

After a severe illness of little more than a week, Miss Emma Cathrina JENSEN died at the home of her father, Julius JENSEN, shortly before midnight Tuesday, May 2nd, 1916. The deceased was born in Franklin county, Iowa, May 24th, 1896. Her mother died ten years ago the 27th day of April. Of immediate relatives she leaves her father, three brothers and seven sisters to mourn her departure.

Funeral services were held from the house at 12:30 p.m., and at 1:00 p.m. Thursday from the United Lutheran church, Rev. JENSEN officiating. The remains were interred at Clear Lake cemetery.
