Charlotte V. "Lottie" CROWLEY, 94, of Mason City, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1992, at Heritage Care Center, Mason City.

A Mass of the Resurrection was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Mason City, with the Rev. John R. KREMER officiating. Burial was in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 10, 1907, in Tama County to John and Anna (URDIL) CHALUPNIK.

She married Charles P. CROWLEY in 1916 in Mason City, and then moved to Clear Lake after Mr. CROWLEY retired from the painting trade.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was active in St. Vernoica's Circle and Navy Mothers while residing in Mason City, and the World War I Auxiliary, the Happy Planters Garden Club and the Thimble Bee Club while in Clear Lake.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Colleen JOHNSON and her husband, Art, Mason City; one sister, Mrs. Ed (Albia) TRACY, Sun Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren, John Charles LEWIS, Brooklyn Park, Minn., Terry Edwin LEWIS, Brunswick, Ohio, Teresa LEWIS, White Bear, Minn., Sally CLARK, Mason City, and Michael CROWLEY, Des Moines; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1970; her parents; two daughters, Betty and Dorothy CROWLEY; two sons, Edward and Howard CROWLEY; three brothers; and four sisters.
