Funeral Rites to Be Wednesday Morning
at St. Joseph's ChurchMrs. Bernard CROWLEY, 29, died at her home in Chicago Sunday noon [July 6, 1940], following an illness [tuberculosis] of about three years. She had resided in Chicago since 1935.
Mrs. CROWLEY was born in Mason City, Oct. 29, 1911. She was married to Bernard CROWLEY in August, 1929, and had lately moved to Chicago.
Surviving Mrs. CROWLEY are her husband, two daughters, Betty Jean and Joan, her father, Earl HENNAGIR, Mason City, and mother, Mrs. Bonnie VANCE, Mason City, and three brothers, Harold and Victor HENNAGER, Mason City, and Rex HENNAGIR, Nora Springs, and three sisters, Mrs. Eva BARNARD and Mrs. O. C. JONES, Mason City, and Mrs. Thelma CONLEY, Vacoma, Wash., and grandmother, Mrs. E. S. HENNAGIR, Mason City.
The Rosary will be held at the Major Memorial chapel at 8 o'clock Monday evening. Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock the body will be taken to the home of Mrs. J. F. CROWLEY, 330 Second street northeast, where the Rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Catholic church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, with Father R. P. MURPHY in charge. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery. The Major funeral home is in charge.
