Friday, June 13, 1930PIONEER WOMAN IN COUNTY DIES
Mrs. M. E. Anderson of Plymouth
Survived by Large Family.PLYMOUTH, June 13. -- Mrs. M. E. ANDERSON, 81, resident here for many years, died at the home of her daughter last night [June 12, 1930]. She had received a broken hip about three weeks ago and later suffered a stroke which was the immediate cause of her death.
Mrs. ANDERSON is survived by Mrs. W. O. PRESCOTT and Archie ANDERSON, both of Plymouth; Roscoe ANDERSON, California; Kirk ANDERSON, Washington; Leo ANDERSON, Minnesota. One daughter, Belle, preceded her in death several years ago. Her grandson, Gerald PRESCOTT, is director of the high school band in Mason City.
Funeral arrangements have not been announced pending the arrival of her relatives from distant points. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Plymouth.

PLYMOUTH, June 14. -- Funeral services for Mrs. M. E. ANDERSON, 80, who died here yesterdayafter a stroke of apoplexy, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. O. PRESCOTT. Mrs. ANDERSON was one of the pioneers of the community.
NOTE: Mary Eliza (PECK) ANDERSON was born September 15, 1849, Fulton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Levi Stoddard and Clarinda Cone (CHIPMAN) PECK.
