Redmond McManus

DOUGHERTY- Funeral services for Redmond J. McManus, 92, of the Rockwell and Dougherty areas, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty. He died Monday (Feb. 12, 1984) at a Rockwell nursing home.

The Rev. Paul J. Maguire and the Rev. John Thorton will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dougherty.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at St. Patrick's School chapel, Dougherty, where a parish rosary wil be said at 7:30 tonight.

Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, Mason City, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McManus was born Oct. 27, 1891, in Dougherty to Thomas and Elizabeh (Mullaney) McManus. He attended school in Dougherty and was a veteran of World War 1. He had farmed in the Dougherty area all his life.

A brother, James McManus, of rural Rockwell survives.
