MASON CITY- Clarabelle F. Fredricks, 69, of 314 25th St. S.W., died Friday (Jan. 29, 1994) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. The Rev. David Anderson, of St. James Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 tonight and Tuesday morning until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fredricks was born March 4, 1924, at Mason City, the daughter of Charles and Euphamy (Hutton) Wentworth. She graduated from Mason City High School.

On June 15, 1949, she married Elmer J. Fredricks at Albert Lea, Minn. She was employed by Jacob E. Decker & Son and later Armour's for 36 years, retiring in 1983. Her grandchildren were very special to her.

Survivors include a son, Arnold E. and wife Jon Ann Fredricks of Mason City; grandchildren, Kim C. Fredricks of St. Paul, Minn., Derek J. Fredricks of Mason City; Marilyn M. and husband, William Osburn of Clear Lake, Patty Fredricks and Maryann Fredricks, both of Mason City; three great-grandddaughters, Jessica A. DeWitt, Samantha K. DeWitt, Kayla Rose Fredricks; two great-grandsons, Stoney Fredricks, Sebastian Osburn; a sister, Ruth Overson of Mason City; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Dale, Lyle, and Wayne.
