ROCKWELL — Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Rockwell, for James Henry Jacobs, 68, of Rockwell, who died Tuesday, (May 21, 1985) at a Mason City hospital.

The Rev. Mark Clem will officiate and burial will be in Rockwell Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday at Patterson James Murphy Funeral Chapel, Rockwell.

Mr. Jacobs had worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 35 years. He was born Oct. 11, 1915 in Trenton, Mo., to Charles and Mildred (Fertig) Jacobs. He married Evelyn Menter in January 1939. She died in November 1961.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Don (Alice) Zweck. Dougherty; one son, James Frank Jacobs, Waterloo; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie Schwartz, Chico, Calif, and one brother, Frank Jacobs. Mason City.
