VENTURA-Steven W. Gisel,33 of Mankato, Minn., formerly of Ventura, died Friday (July 22, 1988) at his home in Mankato.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. today at the Grace Lutheran Church, Mankato. The Rev. Daird Korth will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, rural Corwith.
Landkamer's Funeral Home, Mankato, is in charge of arrangements.
He was born June 11, 1955, in Mason City to Willard and Gladys (Nelson) Gisel. He was raised in Ventura and graduated from Ventura High School in 1973.
He served in the United States Navy for four years. In 1975, he married Donna Hyde in Clear Lake.
He graduated from Mankato State University in 1983 and was employed as a graphics manager for Clear With Computers in Mankato at the time of this death.
He was a member of the Mankato Jaycees and the area trap-shooting club. Mr. Gisel was an avid sportsman and worked with children in firearm safety.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, Mankato; three daughters, Tiffany, Jennifer and Stephanie, all at home; his parents, Willard and Gladys Gisel, Ventura; his paternal grandmother, Gladys Gisel, Ventura, and one brother, Jeffrey, Castelbury, Fla.
