Funeral rites for Harry S. Peterson, 239 20th Street southeast, who died at a local hospital early Friday morning, were held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Alliance Gospel tabernacle with the Rev. J. A. Schmidt, and Rev. E. A J??cour, Oskaloosa, officiating. After the reading of scripture, the Rev. A. O. Soholm, pastor of the Central Lutherian church gave a prayer.

The tabernacle male quartet sang after the Rev. Mr. Lacour, evangelist from Oskaloosa, preached the sermon. A duet was given by Mrs. McKnight and Mrs. Sutton.

Mr. Peterson leaves his widow, Mrs Thelma Irene Peterson; two sisters, Mrs. Gus Rose and Sylvia Peterson, Waterloo; six uncles and five aunts who reside in and near Cedar Falls; Mr and Mrs J. R. Glandon, parents of Mrs. Peterson; Herman, Gaylord and Mary Glandon, brothers and sister to Mrs. Peterson.

Mr. Peterson was 28 years of age. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
