Last rites for Edward H. Schneckloth, 62, will be held at Runge Mortuary, Davenport, at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12. Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today (May 11). Memorials may be made to Mooseheart and the American Heart Association.

Mr. Schneckloth died at his home in Davenport May 9.

The son of Chris and Olga McQuillen Schneckloth, he was born at Bennett Nov. 15, 1925. He was married to Viola Rector Sept. 16, 1949.

He was employed by J. I. Case, Bettendorf for 31 years, retiring as an inspector in 1978. He had been employed part time at Highland Springs Golf Course, Rock Island, Ill.

He was a member of Moose Lodge 28, Davenport and a member of the ritual staff.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Deborah) Schertz, Rising Sun, Md.; a son, Dean Edward Schneckloth, Bennett; a sister, Mrs. Leroy (Nadine) Lafrenz, Bennett and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leo, in 1971.
