Funeral services for Mrs. Alvin (Eva S.) Kamberling, 88, were held at the Horner Funeral home, Mechanicsville Nov. 30 with burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles, Leonard, Douglas and Danny Kamberling and Dan and Rick Thomson.

Mrs. Kamberling died at the Hallmark Care Center, Mt. Vernon, Nov. 27.

The daughter of Joseph and Mary Placek Baxa, she was born at Tobias, Nebr. July 25, 1899. When she was 18 months old her parents moved to a small farm near Lisbon, where she lived until her marriage to Alvin L. Kamberling at Tipton June 17, 1919. He died in 1963.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Angeline O'Connor, Cedar Rapids and Marie Thomson, Mechanicsville; 2 sons, Leo, Fairfield Bay, Ark. and Leonard, Lisbon; a brother, Leo Baxa, Tipton; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter.
