Last rites for Mrs. Edwin (Elsie E.) Middleton, 75, will be held at the Rochester Methodist church at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 with the Rev. Norman Anderson officiating. Burial is in the Rochester cemetery. Pallbearers are Kent and Kory Reighard, Douglas Wright, Richard Dietzman, Larry Andries and James Middleton. Diane Moon is the vocalist and Sharon Stiff, organist.

Mrs. Middleton died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 1.

The daughter of Robert J. and Ella Burroughs Everett, she was born near Tipton Aug. 13, 1912 and attended the Cedar county rural schools. She was married to Edwin E. Middleton at Muscatine Nov. 29, 1930. She was a lifetime resident of the Tipton area.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Betty) Wright, Birmingham; Edith Reighard, Burlington and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Hintz, Hampton; a son, Donald, Burlington, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a grandchild.
