Last rites for Clarence Beinke, 76, were held at Wilton Oct. 26 with the Rev. Telford Dindinger officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff, Neal, Allen, Mark and Greg Nelson, Dean Maurer and Tony and Mike Mullink.
Mr. Beinke died at Veterans hospital, Iowa City, Oct. 23.
The son of Henry and Elizabeth Jensen Beinke, he was born at Sunbury Feb. 25, 1911. He married Dorothy Albaugh in Rock Island, Ill., Nov. 15, 1933.
Mr. Beinke was owner and operator of Beinke Trucking Company. A World War II Navy veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 584 and Moose Lodge 288, Muscatine.
He is survived by his wife; 4 daughters, Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Nelson, Mrs. Ray (Kay) Buscher, Wilton; Mrs. John (Fontelle) Mullink, West Liberty and Mrs. Wesley (Jeanine) Murdock, Wilton; a brother, Harlan (Tinker) and 5 sisters, Lillie Maurer, Lulu Maurer, Clarinda Kress, Mrs. Ernest (Erna) Hansen and Mrs. Don (Marvella) Holmes, all of Wilton; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
