Funeral services for Gladys Berg, 74, were held at West Branch Oct. 14 with burial in the West Branch cemetery. Mrs. Berg died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Oct. 12.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Carney, West Branch and Evelyn Beaver, West Liberty; 5 sons, Gill, Maquoketa; Roy, Oxford; Harry, Yucapia, Calif.; Clarence, Kalona and Tom, Ottumwa; a brother, Leslie Moartell, Iron River, Wisc.; 2 sisters, Marglore Tutor, Iron River, Calif.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a nursing assistant at Mercy hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1978.
