Funeral services for Robert B. Yule, 89, Fullerton, Calif., were held July 11, 1987 at Red Oak cemetery, with Rev. Jerrold Swinton officiating.

Mr. Yule died July 7 in Fullerton, Calif. following a brief illness.

The son of Charles and Nevada Little Yule, he was born June 10, 1989 near Tipton. He attended the Brookings, S.D. schools and graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1924. He married Hazel Thomson June 25, 1925 in Brookings, S.D.

Mr. Yule was a construction engineer and a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Legion, Mesa, Ariz. post and a past member of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. He was also a member of the Presbyterian church and a veteran of World War I, serving as a Battalion Sgt. Major in the Army.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Roberta) Owen, Hong Kong; 2 sons, Roger, Fullerton, Calif. and James, Kansas City, Mo.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Huber and Mrs. Vada Klith, both of Sun City, Ariz.; a brother, Wallace, Sun City, Ariz. and a daughter-in-law, Ann Yule, Costa Mesa, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, sister and 2 brothers.
