Funeral services for Mabel V. Lloyd, 87, West Branch, were held June 20 at the West Branch United Methodist church, with the Rev. Samuel J. Hahn officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Lloyd died June 17 at the Crestview Care Center, West Branch, following an extended illness.

The daughter of Wiley and May Coleman Daniel, she was born Aug. 19, 1899 in Granden, Mo. She married Ernest Lloyd June 18, 1924 in St. Louis. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and taught Sunday school for many years.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by 3 sons, Daniel, Virginia; James and David, West Branch and 1 brother, Clyde Daniel, Carthersville, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983.
