Graveside services for Wesley (Pete) Werling, 75, Cedar Rapids and formerly of Tipton, were held June 16, 1987 at the Tipton Masonic cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.

Mr. Werling died June 14 at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness.

The son of Louis and Leone Gregg Werling, he was born in 1912 in Cedar county. He attended Tipton high school, graduating in 1930.

He is survived by 2 nieces, a nephew and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
