Funeral services for Helen Marie Krall, 70, West Branch, were held June 6, 1987 at St. Bridget's Catholic church at Nolan Settlement, with the Rev. Daniel Manhart officiating. Pallbearers were William, Kenneth and Michael Krall, Kenneth Moore, David Cozine and Larry Lear. Margaret Suchomel was organist. Burial was in St. Bridget's cemetery and arrangements were handled by the George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice Inc., 500 Market St., 52240.

Mrs. Krall died June 2 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness.

The son of Charles and Clara Rouner Grissell, she was born Dec. 8, 1916 in Iowa City. She graduated from Iowa City High in 1934 and married Richard Krall April 11, 1939.

Mrs. Krall had lived in West Branch since 1946 and was a member of St. Bridget's Altar and Rosary Society, the MAO club and the West Branch TPM Club.

She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Jr. and Charles, both of West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (DeAnna) Lear, North Liberty and 5 grandchildren.
