Funeral services for Floyd C. Hill, 47, Tipton were held June 6, 1987 at Sheets and Son Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. Robert Molsberry officiating. The vocalist was Nancy Hipple and the organist was Betty Trevathan. Pallbearers were Mike Goetz, Cliff Read, Rick Rochau, Scott Stiff, Roger Marolf and Ronald Ogden. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Hill died June 3 at the Clarence Nursing Home following an extended illness.

The son of Gale and Clara Louis McDonnold Hill, he was born April 16, 1940 in Pella. He was an assistant manager at the Family Foods store in Tipton and a lifetime resident of Tipton.

Mr. Hill was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 730, Tipton and served with the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his mother, Louise, Tipton; a sister, Mrs. Glenn (Mary Jean) Ruud, Milan, Ill.; 2 brothers, Dennis and Jim, both of Tipton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
