Funeral services for Mrs. Milver (Lois E.) Hora, 72, West Branch, were held at the United Methodist church, West Branch May 28 with the Rev. Samuel Hahn officiating. Burial was in Oasis cemetery. An Eastern Star service was held May 2.

Mrs. Hora died at the Crestview Care Center, West Branch, May 25.

The daughter of Charles H. and Golden Clair Cowgill Stuart, she was born in Johnson county April 29, 1915. She married Milver Hora in Johnson county Dec. 5, 1935. She graduated from the University of Iowa school of nursing in 1935 and was a nurse at University hospitals until she retired in 1968.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, the White Shrine, Bethlehem Chapter #8, the Juanita Chapter #274, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Iowa City Saddle club, the Iowa Stock Horse association, the Iowa Quarter Horse association, the North Scott circle, the United Methodist Women, the County Line club, the Iowa Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Women.

She is survived by her husband.
