Funeral services for Raldo C. Riedesel, 69, Tipton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, June 3, at the Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett, with the Rev. D. L. Gardella officiating. Ruth Riedesel will be the organist and Ardis Rekemeyer will be the pianist. Vocalists will be Julie Wilkins and Nancy Chittick. Pallbearers will be John King, Richard Kreinbring, Gary Riedesel, Daryl Ballenger, Gaylon Rekemeyer and Bernard Andrew. Burial will be in the Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Mr. Riedesel died June 1 at his home following an extended illness.

The son of Rudolph and Annie Hagge Riedesel, he was born Oct. 11, 1917 in Bennett. He attended the rural Bennett schools and married Mildred Kelting June 29, 1945 in Wheatland. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Riedesel was a member of the Tipton Lions Club, the Muscatine Moose, the Inland Cemetery Association, Tipton Senior Citizens and was a 50 year member of the Peace Church of Christ United in Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. Jon (Deanna) Blanchard, Oregon, Wis.; a son, Darrell, Takomo Park, Md.; 2 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Erma Fox, Wheatland and a twin brother, Roland Riedesel, Tipton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
