29 August 1984 - The Tipton Conservative

Last rites for Monroe White, 71, Wilton, will be held at 10 a.m. today (Aug. 29) at the Lacock Funeral Home, Durant. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Milan, Mo. Mr. White died at his home Aug. 26.

Mr. White retired from the Aluminum Company of America in 1975 where he had been employed for 22 years.

He was married to Betha McKay in 1930. She died in 1961. He married Elverna Schneekloth in Durant in 1979.

He was a member of the Davenport Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, 4 daughters, Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Sterling, Port Bryon, Ill.; Mrs. Robert (Louise) Jipp, Wilton; Mrs. Ronald (Maxine) Ruser, Davenport and Mrs. James (Betty) Martin, Benton, Ark.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Donald (Bonita) Kallenberger, Tipton; a son, Alfred, Walcott; a step-son, Harris Schneekloth, Durant; 25 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Murl (Helen) Daniels, Centerville and 3 brothers, Raymond, Green City, Mo.; Edward, Milan, Mo. and Donald, St. Joseph, Mo.
