April 25, 1984 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Mrs. Gustav (Norma) Horn, 86, will be held at the Sheets and Son funeral home in at 2:30 today (April 25) with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral. A memorial has been established.

Dr. Jerrold Swinton will be in charge of the services. Pallbearers are Ronald Martin, Keith Fields, Donald Armstrong Jr., Eugene Rohlf, J. S. Hall and Donald Williams. Mrs. Sylvia Gould is organist. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Petersen and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gritton are in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Horn died at Cedar Manor April 23.

The daughter of Henry and Minnie Seaman Jons, she was born at Clarence July 31, 1897. She attended the Clarence schools. She was married to Gustav Horn at Los Angeles, CA, June 22, 1921. He preceded her in death. A homemaker, she had lived in the Tipton community since 1921.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, Tipton and a member and past president of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of several social organizations.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) DeKock, Tipton and Mrs. George (Margaret) Richardson, Richardson, TX; a son, Robert, Tiffin, OH, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 sisters.
