Last rites for Ray Whitlatch, 33, were held at Walsenburg, CO April 17 with burial in the Masonic cemetery at Walsenberg.

Mr. Whitlatch died at his home in Walsenberg of a self-inflicted gunshot wound April 14.

The son of Don and Maxine Challis Whitlatch, he was born at Anamosa Jan. 22, 1951. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1969. He was a real estate salesman in the southern Colorado area at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Claretta and a daughter, Melinda, Walsenberg and 3 brothers, Bob and Keith, Tipton and Allen, Farmington.
