Funeral services for Mrs. Gustav (Wilhelmina A.) Strunk, 88, were held at Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, April 11 with the Rev. Paul Jordan officiating. Burial was in St. John's cemetery at Clarence. Pallbearers were Henry Herman, Emil Meier, Melvin and Larry Schade, Lowell Wulf and Walter Hack. Mrs. Leona Helmold was organist.

Mrs. Stunk died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, April 9.

The daughter of Henry and Sophie Soihl Schade, she was born at Lowden Sept. 27, 1895. She was married to Gustav Strunk Dec. 17, 1919. He died in 1965. Mrs. Strunk was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden.

She is survived by a son, Elmer, Bennett; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
