Final rites for Mrs. Carl (Gertrude Flavilla) Ehresman, 80, were held at First United Methodist church, Tipton, April 17 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Myron, Bruce, Duane, Calvin and Keith Ehresman and Michael Hatfield. Sylvia Gould was organist. Edna Strefling and Loretta Lausen were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Ehresman died at her home in Tipton April 15.

The daughter of C. E. and Almeda Talman Knight, she was born at St. Paul, NE May 6, 1903. She was educated in the schools of that area and was married to Carl H. Ehresman at Kearney, NE in 1921.

A resident of the Tipton area for 45 years, she was a member of First United Methodist church, Virginia Grove King's Daughters and the Mt. Zion Community Workers.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Harold, Marion and Donzel, Anamosa; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Merle Baker, Kearney, NE and Esther Bentley, Overton, NE: and a brother, Earl Knight, Lincoln, NE. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 3 grandchildren.
