Last rites for Mrs. Enoch (Mary) Anderson, 89, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral Home April 10 with the Rev. Dale Marshall officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Prentice York, Ernest Werling, Dayton Clevenger, Howard McClellan, Roscoe Schilling and Earl Wiese. Betty Vitense was organist.

Mrs. Anderson died at Cedar Manor April 8.

The daughter of Claus and Carolyn Struck Schwitzer, she was born near Bennett Aug. 15, 1894 and attended the rural schools of Cedar county.

She was married to George Fell at Tipton Oct. 16, 1919. He died Feb. 28, 1940. She was married to Enoch Anderson at Chicago, IL Sept. 8, 1941. He died Aug. 15, 1959.

A homemaker, she spent her life in the Tipton area. She was a member of First United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a sister, Katie Meier, Clarence; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Ahrens, Davenport and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
