Last rites for Aaron H. Hein, 68, a native of Cedar county, were held at Holy Cross Lutheran church, Davenport, March 31 with burial in Davenport Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Hein died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, March 29.

The son of Paul and Caroline Bunge Hein, he was born in Massillon township April 25, 1915. He was employed by the US Postal department prior to his retirement. He was employed by Mary Moore Church Linens at the time of his death.

A veteran of World War II, he was in the service in the US Army air force. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran church, Davenport, to which memorials may be made.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. David (Julie) Scott, Davenport and Mrs. Gary (Joline) Hoffman, East Moline, IL; a son, Aaron Hein Jr., Cedar Rapids; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Charles (Hilda) Whited, Anamosa; Mrs. Darrell (Helen) Brockmeyer, Bennett and Mrs. Elmer (Lenora) Ball, Wilton and brother, Lloyd, Tipton. He was preceded in death by a brother.
