Funeral services for Mrs. Harry (Vera) Kai, 76, were held at Durant April 14 with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Mrs. Kai died at the Davenport Lutheran Home April 12.

The daughter of George and Clara Fitzer Lilienthal, she was born in Cedar county Oct. 7, 1907. She was married to Harry Kai at Davenport Feb. 5, 1930. He died in 1979.

She was a member of the Wilton United Methodist church and the Progressive club of Durant.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Delores) Marolf, Durant; 4 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Allan Priester, Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by a sister.
