Funeral services for Mrs. Albert (Mabel) Maurer, 87, were held at Wilton March 14 with the Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial was in Healy cemetery, Moscow. Mrs. Maurer, a former resident of West Liberty, died at the Iowa Masonic home March 10.

The daughter of George and Elnora Hirschman Healy, she was born in Cedar county July 2, 1896. She was married to Albert Maurer in Iowa City June 7, 1916.

She was a member of First Church United, West Liberty and was a former member of the King's Daughters of Rock Island, IL.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Leota) Aronson, Rock Island and Helen Simmons, Moline, IL, a grandson and a brother, Leo Healy, Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
