Funeral services for Mrs. Warren (Beulah M.) James, 93, were held at West Liberty Feb. 28 with the Rev. Frank Greenwood officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mrs. James died at an Iowa City care center Feb. 24.

The daughter of Spencer and Rosalie Conklin Ayers, she was born in Cedar county Feb. 14, 1891.

She was married to Warren James. He died in 1962. Mrs. James was a member of the Methodist church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Delta club. She had served as a volunteer at Veterans hospital, Iowa City.

She is survived by a son, Ward, Coralville, a daughter, Alberta Tipton, Des Moines; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
