Funeral services for Guy Preston Adams, 80, Davenport, were held at the Dye Funeral home March with Ronald Ehrman officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Chester, Robert, Jimmy, Harry and William C. Sherwood and Lewis Atkins.

Mr. Adams died at the Americana Nursing home, Davenport, Feb. 28.

The son of Charles and Ann Golden Adams, he was born July 25, 1885 and received his education in the Tipton schools. A farmer, he lived in the Tipton area for 55 years, then moved to Davenport 25 years ago.

He was an army veteran of World War I and II. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
