Last rites for Mrs. Ann King Pennington, 89, Mechanicsville, were held in Solon, Feb. 9 with burial in Morse cemetery. Mrs. Pennington died Feb. 5 following a short illness.
She was born in Wayne county, Ill., Aug. 1, 1886, and was married to Levi Pennington. He died in 1973.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Mechanicsville and the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Geroge Fidler, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Ray Hughes, Bonham, Texas and Mrs. Edward Smith, Burlington; 6 sons, Homer, Levi and Robert, all of Cedar Rapids; Oliver, Backus, Minn.; Joe, Alburnett and James, Ozark, Mo.; 27 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
