Graveside rites for Charles (Harold) Yule, 80, Astoria, S.D., were held at the Red Oak cemetery, Feb. 4, with the Rev. Michael Thompson officiating. Mr. Yule died at the home of his sister in Sun City, Ariz., Jan. 31.

The son of Charles E. and Nevada Little Yule, he was born at Mechanicsville, Oct. 6, 1895. He never married.

He was a school teacher in Minnesota and South Dakota and had farmed at Astoria, S.D. for 30 years.

He was a veteran of World War I, having served with Co. A., 338th Machine Gun battalion. He was a member of the World War I Barracks at Clear Lake, S.D.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hubler, Mrs. Vada Klith and Marian Yule, all of Sun City, Ariz., and 2 brothers, Robert Mesa, Ariz., and Wallace, Blackhawk, S.D.
