Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Anderson, 83, were held at the West Branch United Methodist church, Feb. 9, with the Rev. Max E. Paige officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Feb. 4, following a long illness.

The daughter of W. C. and Eva Phelps, she was born at Muscatine, July 14, 1892, and was married to Henry Stotler in 1914. He died in 1925. She was married to Alfred Anderson in 1931. He died in 1963.

She was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church.

She is survived by 6 sons, Harold Stotler, West Branch; Dr. Donald Stotler, Portland, Oreg.; Dr. H. T. Stotler, Carmel, Calif.; Russell Anderson, Dallas, Texas, Donald Anderson, San Jose, Calif., and Arlo Anderson, Accakeek, Md., several grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Lela Stoecker, North Redington Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Mabel Rummells, West Branch, and brother Vernon Phelps, Dora, Mo.
