Funeral services for John Schneider, 75, were held at West Liberty Feb. 2 with the Rev. Dick Watkins officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mr. Schneider died at the Simpson Memorial home in West Liberty Jan. 29, following a 2-month illness.

The son of Fred and Minnie DeMuth Schneider, he was born in Cedar county Dec. 23, 1900. He never married and was a farmer all of his life.

He is survived by 3 brothers, William, Fred and Leroy, all of West Liberty and 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary LaMack, Davenport; Mrs. Minnie Shroder, Tipton and Mrs. Alma Heick, West Liberty and several nieces and nephews.
