Funeral services for Lloyd R. Kallenberger, 65, Tipton grain dealer for 33 years, were held at the First United Methodist church Feb. 2 with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jack Fraseur, Donovan Wright, Richard Ward, Glenn W. Eaton, Francis Countryman and Harold Morden. Mrs. Elgene Kleppe was vocalist and Mrs. Kenneth Gould was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. John Lange and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sindt were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Kallenberger died at his home in Tipton, Jan. 30, following a heart attack.

The son of Fred and Hazel Edmundson Kallenberger, he was born at Wapello, June 23, 1910 and was educated in the rural Louisa and Muscatine county schools. He was married to Norma Regennitter at Muscatine in 1931. She preceded him in death. He married Thelma Nebergall at Cedar Rapids in 1960.

A Tipton resident since 1939, he had owned and operated the Kallenberger Grain company since 1943.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Donald and a step-son, Kevin Nebergall, his mother, Mrs. Hazel Kallenberger, all of Tipton; 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Alan (Ethel) Gray, Muscatine and Mrs. Harold (Helen) Swick, Tipton and a brother, Donald Kallenberger, Muscatine.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and a step-son.
