Funeral services for James Aubrey Wilson McAmis, 38, were held at the United Presbyterian church, Mechanicsville, Jan. 14, with the Rev. Donald Wooge officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. The Horner Funeral home was in charge.

Pallbearers were Glenn and Norman Willett, Frank Smith, Lee McHenry, Norman Crabtree and Leroy Wendt. Mrs. Calvin Robinson was organist.

Mr. McAmis died at Mechanicsville, Jan. 11.

The son of William Aubrey and Pauline Dearstone McAmis, he was born in Greenville, Tenn. May 16, 1937, and attended high school in Greenville, Tenn. He was married to Juanita Reaves in Greenville, Dec. 23, 1958.

He was a high lift operator for Nash-Finch Co., Cedar Rapids and had lived in the Mechanicsville area for several years.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Mike, Dale and Bill and a daughter, Pamela, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Pauline McAmis, Greenville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Brenda Wilhoit, and 4 brothers, Harold, Lyle, Jack and Ben, all of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
