Funeral services for William Nevin Rorick, 77, were held in Wilton, Jan. 14, with the Rev. Larry Willey officiating. Burial was in Sharon cemetery. Masonic services were held Tuesday.

Mr. Rorick died in a restaurant on the Walcott interchange of Interstate 80 about 1 p.m. Sunday, following a heart attack.

The son of William Henry and Luanna Smith Rorick, he was born in Cedar county, May 20, 1898 and lived in the Wilton area most of his life.

He was married to Mabel Esta Whitmer at Rock Island, June 5, 1923. He operated a farm north of Wilton most of his adult life. He was a member of the Methodist church, Wilton and the Wilton Masonic lodge for more than 50 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Jean) Whetstone, Casey; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Glen, Sterling, Ill., and 2 sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Glee) Stalder, Davenport and Rose Rorick, Wilton. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1970 and by a sister.
