Last rites for Mrs. Clement (Jake) Davies, 60, Wilton were held at the United Methodist church, Wilton, Dec. 26 with the Rev. Larry Willey officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Davies died at Muscatine General hospital Dec. 22.

The daughter of Clarence and Wilma Holcomb Redman, she was born in Muscatine July 17, 1915 and was married to Jake Davies July 28, 1936 in Dixon, Ill. She had been a resident of Wilton since 1937.

She was a member of the United Methodist church and was associated with her husband in Jake's Super Market in Wilton for 32 years.

She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Kenneth (Jerry) Davies and W. David Davies, both of Wilton; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judith) Herr, Davenport; 8 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Wlliam (Frances) LaMond, Morgansfield, Ky.; Mrs. Ruth Nash, Marshalltown and Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Gerdt, Siloam Springs, Ark.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
