Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia W. Wacker, 87, were held at Zion Lutheran church, Wilton, Dec. 12 with the Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Wacker died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Dec. 10.

The daughter of John and Emilie Bolley Grunder, she was born March 27, 1888. She was married to A. J. Wacker at Wilton, June 3, 1920.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid of the church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Dale (Emily) Burr, Lone Tree; Mrs. Calvin (Marion) Schmidt, Tipton and Mrs. George (Shirley) McClean, Moline, Ill.; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers and a sister.
