Funeral services for Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Geertz, 59, Nichols, a native of Bennett, will be held at the Riley Funeral Home, Muscatine, at 1:30 today, Dec. 18, with burial in Oak Grove cemetery, West Liberty.

Mrs. Geertz died at her home Dec. 16, following a long illness.

Myrtle Lendt was born in Bennett. She married Mr. Geertz in 1938 in Clarence. She was a nurse's aide at Muscatine General hospital, retiring in 1971.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Yeater; a son, Joseph, both of Muscatine; a foster daughter, Mrs. Charles (Viola) Kammerer, Rochester, N.Y., a foster son, Alvin Classen, Trenton, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Leon (Marie) Lupher, Mrs. Ed (Leona) Zahner and Mrs. Frances Deerberg, all of Tipton, and 4 brothers, Wilmot and Delmer Lendt, both of Clarence; Elmer Lendt, Manchester and Raymond Lendt, Lowden.
