Last rites for Benjamin Hoon, 75, were held at the Dye Funeral home, Dec. 2, with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Glenn L. Eaton, Keith and Steve Ochiltree, Bruce and Mike Harden and Keith Fields.

Mr. Hoon died at Cedar Manor Nov. 29. He had been at the home for 2 years.

The son of Lee and Alice Murray Hoon, he was born in Tipton, Sept. 12, 1900, and attended the Tipton schools. He spent his entire life in Tipton.

He is survived by seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
