Funeral services for Orren Isaac Kiser, 87, retired Cedar county farmer, were held at Wilton, Nov. 29, with the Rev. Kenneth Kuntz officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.

Mr. Kiser died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 25, following an extended illness.

The son of Charles and Nora Kiser, he was born north of Wilton in October, 1888. He was married to Blanche Ficher in 1921. They farmed north of Wilton until they retired.

He was a member of South Bethel Methodist church and the Masonic lodge in Wilton.

He is survived by a son, Clifford, St. Petersburg, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Belle King, Wilton and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother and a daughter.
