Clarence, Ia., Jan. 21 -The funeral of Mrs. G. F. Peabody was held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and a large concourse of friends turned out to pay a last tribute. Mrs. Peabody's death came as a shock to the community as she was only ill a few days with pneumonia and many had not even heard of her illness. She will be sadly missed by friends.
