Mrs. F. W. Madsen of Chicago died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ernest, in Stanwood, Tuesday morning at 6:30 of Hodgkins disease. She came from her home in Chicago last summer because of her illness and gradually grew worse until the end came. She was conscious almost to the last moment and gave a parting smile and kiss to the loved ones who were caring for her.

Marjory Ernest was born Aug. 2, 1894, in Stanwood, and was the youngest child of the late C. E. and Mrs. Ernest. She was married to F. W. Madsen of Chicago December 23, 1915. Most of her life has been spent in Stanwood.

The funeral services were conducted from her mother's home Thursday at 1:30 by her paster, Rev. A. S. Billey of the United Presbyterian church and assisted by Rev. C. W. Cleveland.

The Royal Neighbors and Missionary society gave beautiful floral pieces as well as relatives and friends.

She leaves to mourn her loss the husband, a little 15 months' old son, Waldimer Ernest; the mother, Mrs. C. E. Ernest; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Gruber, of Stanwood; two brothers, Henry Ernst of Anamosa and Elmer Ernest of Galt, Mo., and a host of sorrowing friends.
