Funeral services were held in Lewiston, Idaho, July 14, for Mrs. Blanche Christy, 76, who died in a Seattle, Wash. hospital, July 9. Mrs. Christy was born in Davis county, Iowa, in 1898. In 1917 she was married to the late Harry Christy and they moved to Stanwood where Mr. Christy was superintendent of the Stanwood school for many years.

Mrs. Christy was active in the Camp Fire Girls and organized her first group in Stanwood in 1920. She was, also, a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Stanwood.
