Last rites for Mary Alice Henderson, 77, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home July 22 with the Rev. Dale Marshall officiating. Burial was in the Red Oak cemetery.

Pallbearers were Loren Voss, A. E. Rumble, Harold Wentzel, Carl Frederick, Hermann Onken and Francis Schilling.

Miss Henderson died at Cedar Manor July 18 following an extended illness.

The daughter of John G. and Lorna O. Franklin Henderson, she was born near Tipton May 22, 1898 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar and Emmet county. She lived at Estherville for 25 years, coming back to Tipton in 1935. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edith M. Eden, Calamus; a brother Milton, Knoxville and nephew, Douglas Henerson, Marion. She was preceded in death by a sister and 3 brothers.
